“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
Guidelines are being updated all the time and we are ready to respond to those changes. We feel positive that Forest School and holiday club can operate safely within these guidelines from 4th July. Health & safety will be at the forefront with onsite hands- washing stations in the woods, regularly cleaned toilet facilities and procedures in place for social distancing.
On account of this, bookings wlll be taken for select dates and sessions, currently at our Danemead Site. Spaces are limited so book now. For HOLIDAY CLUB Take me there
If any of these sessions are unable to go ahead, a 100% refund will be given.
Here at Twiggles Explorers, we believe we can operate safely, within guidelines and under other regulations. We also believe that being outdoors is far more low risk to infection.
Advice from the Forest School Association
The FSA believes that due to the nature of Forest School sessions and facilitating the play needs of children and young people, the most appropriate precaution which can be taken is to create and maintain learner ‘bubbles’. This means that equipment, resources and the environment can be shared within each ‘bubble’ without significant risk.
Children can be infected with CoV-2, and become ill with COVID-19. However, they appear to be less susceptible to infection than adults and their symptoms are
generally milder. Early indications (from the W.H.O) suggest that there is less transmission from children to adults.
Forest School can happen anywhere, even on the edge of a playing field or in a small garden.
