Twiggles Explorers can come to you in your setting and provide one off outdoor learning sessions tailored to your curriculum or a block of sessions.  We also offer full fat forest school sessions. 

Here at Twiggles, we understand that a major barrier to outdoor learning in schools is the confidence of teachers, as well as how on earth people fit outdoor learning in to their already crammed curriculum.  We therefore offer CPD to staff where you will learn some of the fundamentals of forest school by learning a little bit of theory, health & safety with lots of fun practical activities and games.

All  activies and sites are risk assessed. A mobile phone and first aid kit is always available. 

Please ensure you have the correct ratio of staff to children. 

Teachers are responsible for supervision and good behaviour of participants at all times and should encourage participants to show respect for nature by ensuring children do not damage wildlife and take all rubbish away with them.

Twiggles Explorers reccommends that classes of thirty be split in half so that half the class attends a morning session for 2 hours and the other half attends in the afternoon.  This is so that children get the most out of their session, especially if children take part in a high risk activity such as using saws.
